Onboards Powerful KPI Dashboard - Feature Overview

The KPI Dashboard is now a fully configurable workspace where you can build views that match your role, team, or audience.  This customizable dashboard allows for each user to track onboarding metrics that matter to them, in real time.  

First things first, the KPI dashboard is available to any user of the Onboard.io management portal.  To enable this feature for each user, navigate to the Settings > Users & Roles page, click the 3 dots menu next to the user you'd like to provide access to, and select 'Edit team member'.  From this popup window just make sure to select 'KPI Dashboard' under the Feature Access section.Screenshot 2026-04-29 at 3.44.52 PM

Once the KPI Dashboard feature is enabled, each Onboard.io user will now be able to customize their dashboard(s) to suit their needs.  The KPI dashboard is super powerful because of the flexibility it offers.  You have access to 11 different KPI metrics, all of which are drag/droppable for placement preference.  Each KPI widget can be toggled to display the metric view or chart view.  And you can also save multiple dashboards so that you can easily toggle between dashboard views.  The data that drives these metrics are filterable by customer, owner, project status and date range.  And lastly, all dashboard views are exportable to a .csv formatted file which displays the underlying data that comprise each metric!<iframe

  1. Smart Recommendations — Smart recommendations for improvement based on categories of improvement
  2. Avg Days to Launch — Average time to launch projects
  3. On-Time Launch Rate — Percentage of projects launched on schedule
  4. Time in Phase — Average time in each onboarding phase
  5. Customer Stages — Distribution across onboarding stages
  6. Customers per Owner — Customers assigned per team member
  7. Tasks per Owner — Average tasks per team member
  8. Internal Task Completion — Percentage of internal tasks completed
  9. Customer Task Completion — Percentage of customer tasks completed
  10. Overdue Task Rate — Percentage of overdue tasks
  11. Key Metrics — Overview with expandable details and customizable thresholds
