Duplicating Tasks: Global, Projects & Templates

Don’t waste time recreating the same task over and over. If you need a "one-off" copy of an existing task, duplicating is your best friend.

Two ways to copy-paste a task:

1. The Quick Right-Click While looking at your task table (in Global Tasks or any Project), just right-click the task row and hit Duplicate.

2. The Three-Dot Menu If you already have the task details open, click the three dots (...) in the top right corner of the panel and select Duplicate.

Keep in mind:

  • It’s a fresh start: The new task is a "one-off" copy. It keeps the description and settings but starts with zero progress.

  • Pro-tip: Use this in Project Templates to build out repetitive workflows in seconds. Use Global Tasks for the ability to cascade changes across all Projects and use in multiple Project Templates as a single source of truth.
